pn junction diode
pn junction is a junction diode which is formed when n-type extrinsic semiconductor is fused with p-type extrinsic semiconductor creating a potential barrier voltage across the diode junction.In p-type extrinsic semiconductor holes are majority charge carriers and in n-type extrinsic semiconductor electrons are majority charge carriers.
